Michelle believes in the power of self-discovery and the potential for growth that we all carry within us. Her role as a therapist is to listen without judgement, provide coping skills, and help navigate difficult emotions.
Michelle uses a person-centered approach as each individual is unique. Her goal is to provide clients with just enough tools and assistance necessary to allow for change, while keeping them feeling empowered and responsible for the outcome of their treatment. Her specialties are trauma, depression, anxiety, and interpersonal conflict.
Michelle graduated from Metropolitan State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology. She is currently working on her Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology at Capella University. She is working towards independent licensure as an LPCC.
In her free time, Michelle enjoys nature walks around state parks, reading, and exercising. She is a firm believer that self-care is important in mental, emotional, and physical well-being.
