Join us for the 2026 Co-Occurring Conference! This exciting event is a must-attend for professionals in the healthcare industry. Taking place on Fri, May 1, 2026 at the Parkview Meeting + Event Center, this conference promises to be an enlightening and engaging experience.

At the 2026 Co-Occurring Conference, you’ll have the opportunity to learn about the latest advancements and strategies in co-occurring care. Our expert speakers will share their knowledge and insights on emerging practices, providing you with valuable information to enhance your professional expertise.

Topics will include: Cultural Humility: Addressing Implicit Bias, Person Centered Addiction Psychiatry with a Trauma Competent Lens, Treating Psychosis in Residential Settings, Addressing Crisis Situations – Panel discussion and Experiential Exercise, and Harm Reduction in Action – Anything Helps.

This conference highlights a variety of complex clinical, ethical and cultural considerations when providing person-centered co-occurring care and also provides 8 hours of required annual training (including 3.5 hours of Ethics and 3.0 hours of Cultural Considerations) for clinicians working in integrated 245G treatment programs. It provides 6 hours (pre-approved) CEUs for the MN Board of SW and meets MN BBHT criteria for 8 CEUs – which can be submitted (along with other disciplines) for Board approval.

Founded in 1972, Progress Valley is a Minneapolis-St. Paul area-based nonprofit provider of services for people with emotional and mental health challenges and/or substance use issues related to drugs or alcohol. Community members can find therapy and mental health counseling at our Bloomington Mental Health Clinic. Clients from all over Minnesota and the nation can find help with substance use challenges with us as well.
