Born and educated in Mexico City, Luis has been in Minnesota over 35 years now. He’s received the Title of Certified Public Accountant from La Salle University, and received his post-graduate education from the University of Minnesota with a Master’s in Business Administration.
Louis has conducted over 18 years in International Trade and Commerce (Latin America, Europe). Among other things, he has exported precious, tropical, and exotic woods to Europe and Japan. He opened
subsidiaries in Mexico, Italy, and Spain for the automotive industry. He also worked for Chrysler of
Mexico as Manager of Government Reports and Pricing, and was promoted to General Manager
of fleet Sales, with a corporate objective to sell 250,000 units/year. He is an Interpreter/Translator, on a contract basis, providing services to small corporations and agencies in the areas of legal,
medical, business, government, insurance, schools, etc.
Currently, he is a Residential and Commercial Real Estate Agent, active for 17+ years in the industry with experience in single-family, homes, warehouses, automotive repair, offices, restaurants, warehouses, and
multifamily transactions. His hobbies include international cooking, triathlons, marathons, and reading.
