Progress Valley, Inc. is a nonprofit organization providing chemical health treatment services for adult men and women since 1972. We provide integrated, comprehensive and gender specific services offering individuals opportunities for personal change and growth. We believe the process of recovery begins with personal accountability and responsibility to others, and is fostered through the unique and individualized programs we offer.

COVID-19 Response and Services Updates
With the challenges all of us are facing today regarding the COVID-19 pandemic; here at Progress Valley our top priority is the health, safety and well-being of our clients, tenants, family members, employees and customers. We are closely monitoring the continuous developments of COVID-19 while continuing to care for our clients. Our leadership team is diligently meeting daily to determine our next steps and communication our plan of action to ensure we meet the needs of our clients and staff.
Progress Valley's Program Facilities and Services
Progress Valley remains committed to providing the necessary services to our clients who are in need of treatment for substance use and mental health disorders. Our program facilities are fully operational at this time. We are currently accepting new residential and outpatient referrals and limited chemical health assessments. All potential admits will be screened for symptoms and/or exposure to COVID-19 prior to admission. For referrals, click here for contact information
Measures Taken at Progress Valley
Through extensive research of literature and recommendations from the CDC, CMS, and MDH our leadership team had developed plans and implemented action steps for each of our sites. Examples of such measures include:
- Implementing an extensive cleaning/disinfecting regime of program sites and offices.
- Educating staff and clients about basic prevention and practice of proper hygiene.
- Postponing or cancelling large events or gatherings until further notice.
- Social distancing - keeping physical distance of at least 6 feet from other people when posssible.
- We are monitoring for symptoms in our clients and employees on a daily basis. Protocols are in place for staff or clients are positive on the screen.
- Regular inventory and stocking of needed supplies, both for daily operations and implementation of Pandemic Protocols if needed.
A variety of measures to minimize the volume of traffic in our facilities, including: temporarily discontinuing visitation at our residential sites; issuing client passes for essential/approved activities only; increasing remote work arrangements for some employees, and staggering work schedules when possible.
We recognize this is a challenging time for all, and we remain deeply committed to the safety of our clients, employees and community.
