Kristin is a licensed alcohol and drug counselor (LADC) and a professional clinical mental health counselor in training (LPCC-IT). She works as a dual-diagnosis clinician in the Women’s Residential Program. She received her undergraduate degree in psychology and sociology: law, crime, and deviance at the University of Minnesota. Recently she received her graduate degree in co-occurring disorders at Adler Graduate School
She began working in the mental health field in 2015 and has worked with all populations over the years. She has grown her competencies over time and finds that she enjoys working with personality disorders, trauma, and addiction. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with friends and family. She is a loving cat mom to three fur babies. Kirsten loves biking, hiking, camping, and really anything that involves the outdoors. She also has a morbid taste in entertainment and enjoys a good horror or thriller movie or book.
