Janelle Mellgren, LADC-S

Central Access Manager - PV2 Bloomington & PV4 Roseville

Janelle has been a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC) for over a decade serving in roles such as clinician, clinical supervisor, and program manager in co-occurring disorder treatments. Currently, Janelle is pursuing her master’s degree in Counseling and Psychological Services, with the goal of obtaining her Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) licensure. Throughout her career, Janelle has worked with a variety of populations, including adolescents, adults, and individuals with significant criminal justice involvement. In 2023, she was honored with the Clinical Supervisor of the Year Award from the Minnesota Association of Resources for Recovery and Chemical Health (MARRCH). Janelle currently serves as a Governor on the MARRCH Region 7 Board and chairs the ethics committee, where she advocates for LADCs in public policy forums. Outside of her professional life, Janelle enjoys photography and spending time with her cat.

Founded in 1972, Progress Valley is a Minneapolis-St. Paul area-based nonprofit provider of services for people with emotional and mental health challenges and/or substance use issues related to drugs or alcohol. Community members can find therapy and mental health counseling at our Bloomington Mental Health Clinic. Clients from all over Minnesota and the nation can find help with substance use challenges with us as well.
