Janelle is a behavioral health leader with more than a decade of experience in substance use and co-occurring disorder treatment. She has served in a variety of clinical and leadership roles, including clinician, clinical supervisor, and program manager. As the Central Access Manager at Progress Valley, Janelle provides leadership and oversight of client intake, admissions, and works with community partners to improve access to care.
She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Minnesota State University, Mankato, and is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Counseling and Psychological Services with the goal of obtaining LPCC licensure. She is also a Certified Anger Management Specialist II and facilitates anger management programming.
Janelle is deeply involved in advancing the behavioral health profession, serving on the MARRCH Region 7 Board of Governors and co-chairing both the Ethics Committee and Membership Engagement Workgroup. In recognition of her leadership and dedication to clinical supervision, she was named MARRCH’s 2023 Clinical Supervisor of the Year. She also serves on the Board of Directors for RCN, further advancing her commitment to recovery support and community engagement.
Driven by a passion for clinical excellence, ethical practice, and expanding access to quality care, Janelle remains committed to supporting individuals in recovery and strengthening Minnesota’s behavioral health community. Outside of her professional work, she enjoys photography and spending time with her cat.
